Player history is scattered. It should follow the player.
Grassroots football runs on WhatsApp groups, paper team sheets and one-off tournament brackets. When the season ends, it's gone. Wiree gives every player one profile that persists - the teams, tournaments and matches behind them, consolidated into a single verified identity that travels with them.
A career's worth of football, lost in dead group chats.
A player's matches, teams, tournaments and reputation live in fragments across a dozen expired WhatsApp groups and spreadsheets. Every new team, league or trial starts from zero - no record, no history, no proof of what they've actually played.
Wiree consolidates it into one identity. The teams a player has played for, the tournaments they've entered, the matches behind them - a single verified profile that travels across communities, seasons and competitions.
The tournament tools are the entry point. The player identity is the infrastructure.
From the primary-school yard to the works team - it all counts.
Your football didn't begin at a club and it won't end at one. Wiree keeps one continuous record across every stage of your life - every side you lined up for, wherever the game took you.
- 01
Primary school
The first games on the concrete, jumpers for goalposts. It starts here - and it's on the record.
- 02
Secondary school
House teams, inter-school cups, the rivalries that spill from the corridor to the pitch.
- 03
University
Hall leagues, faculty derbies, varsity fixtures - a new set of teammates, all counted.
- 04
NYSC
Camp matches and platoon tournaments. A year that scatters you across the country - the record keeps up.
- 05
Work
Office five-a-side and Sunday league - the game follows you into the working week.
- 06
Estate cages, barracks, prison yards, diaspora pitches
The game doesn't stop at the estate gate - or the prison gate. A match played inside still counts. Football is the one record that travels with you, wherever you are.
Every match, every stage, one record. Nothing gets left behind.
Organize first. Identity follows.
Communities don't adopt an "identity layer" - they adopt tools that solve today's problem. So Wiree starts with the work organizers already do, and builds the profile underneath it.
Run the competition
Set up and manage play
Create leagues, tournaments and fixtures. Register teams and players. Manage schedules and results in one place - instead of across chats and spreadsheets.
Capture the record
History logs itself
Every match, result and appearance logged as it happens becomes part of each player's history automatically. No separate data entry.
Build the profile
History compounds
Over seasons, that record grows into a persistent player identity: teams, tournaments, matches, and a reputation earned on the pitch.
Carry it forward
The profile travels
Players take their identity to the next team, league or trial. Organizers get verified players instead of unknowns.

Example profile. Real profiles are built from a player's own logged matches and tournaments.
"I played five-a-side with him before he went pro." Now you can prove it.
Every match links the players who were on the pitch, and that connection is permanent. So when someone you shared a game with goes on to play professionally, your history together isn't a story you tell - it's a verified record you can show.
Every teammate and opponent is logged
The people on the pitch become part of your match - permanently
The connection holds when they blow up
Their move to the pro game doesn't erase the match you shared - it stays dated and verifiable
Receipts, not reputation
Trials, coaches and communities see a real record instead of taking your word
Bragging rights, backed by a record.

Grassroots deserves infrastructure, not another chat.

Who Sports is for
Grassroots football, first.
Local leagues, five-a-side and Sunday-league setups, tournament organizers, and community teams - with the same infrastructure extending to other grassroots sports as it grows.
Different domain. Same idea.
Wireline builds identity layers that turn scattered, disappearing activity into something structured you can rely on. Wiree does for players what Wireline ID does for payments.
WIRELINE ID
Turns fragmented bank details into one verified financial identity.
WIREE · SPORTS
Turns a scattered football history into one persistent player identity.
Replace the fragmented and temporary with structured infrastructure that lasts. That's the throughline across everything Wireline builds.
Questions.
Is Sports a separate product from Wiree?
No. Sports is a use-case category within Wiree - the same community infrastructure, shaped for football. Events, Clubs and Associations are the other categories, not separate Wireline products.
Where does the player history come from?
From the competitions organizers already run in Wiree. As leagues, fixtures and results are managed, matches and appearances are logged into each player's profile automatically - so the record builds itself rather than being self-reported.
Do organizers have to think about "identity" to use it?
No. Organizers just run their leagues and tournaments. The player identity is built underneath that work. The tools solve today's problem; the profile is the long-term payoff.
Does the profile follow a player to a new team?
Yes. The profile belongs to the player and travels with them across teams, leagues and trials - so nobody starts from zero, and organizers get verified players instead of unknowns.
Does a match count even outside a formal league?
Yes. School games, camp tournaments, work fives, estate cages, prison and rehabilitation leagues - if it's logged in Wiree, it's part of your record. Every match counts, wherever it's played.
Is it only for football?
Football is the focus today. The same infrastructure is designed to extend to other grassroots sports over time.
